After thinking of a way to punish
the Grasshopper like he deserves
it, the Owl came up with a brilliant
idea. She persuaded him to drink
wine with her, by telling him that
it was sent from Olympus. She also
told the Grasshopper that Apollo
drinks before he sings to the gods.
The foolish Grasshopper was taken
by the old Owl’s words and jumped
to the Owl’s den. As soon as the
Grasshopper was close enough, the
Owl immediately ate him up.
