As soon as the farmers discovered what

Mary Worth was doing, they set upon her

with guns and pitchforks and as soon as

she realized everyone in the village now

knew her for what she was, she broke the

spell and ran into the forest.

Unfortunately for Mary Worth, she wasn’t

quick enough for the farmer, and he

quickly loaded his gun with silver bullets

and fired in the direction of Mary Worth,

it caught her in the hip, and she fell

screaming.

She was caught kicking, trashing and

screaming then tied to a stake and a

bonfire was set under her. As she was

burning, she placed a curse upon the

villagers and told them if they ever dared

to utter her name in front of a mirror, she

would come back for

them-her spirit would return to whoever

summoned her to exact revenge.
