But in actuality Joe was

a kind-hearted monster

and not ugly at all.

He had nice brown eyes,

was 4 feet tall and

only ate vegetables.

The only thing that was

different about Joe was that

he had green skin and horns

sprouting from his head.

Hunters would occasionally

see Joe during their hunt

and shoot at him with bows

and crossbows.
