When the hen left her house to

pick up some sticks for the fire,

she had left the door open.

The fox took this opportunity

and sneaked inside the hen`s

house.

He hid behind the door and

quietly waited for the hen.

The hen, without noticing the

fox`s presence, dropped the

sticks she brought on the floor.
