After a long flight to Korea
and lengthy car ride,
I was able to arrive at
my grandparents' place.
"Grandma! Grandpa!“
I yelled, running past the gate.
My grandparents greeted me
with open arms.
"There, there, my dear."
Grandma whispered
as she hugged me tight.
I loved the smell of
traditional Korean pancakes
from her embrace.
