Bionic Gloves were no accident.
They were the result of a collaboration in hand
science and an American sporting legacy that
stretches back over 130 years.
In 1884 John Hillerich turned a bat in his wood-
working factory for a pro baseball player visiting
Louisville, Kentucky.
Today, with their own building adorned with a
170,000 lb baseball bat Hillerich and Bradsby is in
its fifth generation of continuous family ownership
and their purpose built museum is visited by
thousands every year.
H&B involved themselves in many other sports
over the years starting the famous PowerBilt golf
club brand in 1916 (That famous chip in from the
1987 Masters was made with PowerBilt ) and also
producing premium ice-Hockey sticks and
equipment through the 60's to 90's.
BIONIC GLOVES arrived in 1998 when Dr Jim
Klienert together with H&B introduced a glove that
dramatically improved grip, dexterity and comfort
for people involved in sports and other physical
activities.
Since then, thousands of sports and gardening
enthusiasts have used Bionic Gloves to support
their hands and the company has introduced
gloves ranging from golf, gardening and fitness to
horse riding, motorcycling and in the spring of
2019 the company will introduce road and
mountain biking to its range.
Bionic Gloves now commands an elite position in many market
segments and is a valued and important division of a very famous USA
Company.
