Discovery abuse

The practice of discovery abuse manifests itself in two ways

• Excessive or improper use of discovery devices to harass, cause delay,
or wear down an adversary by increased costs

• Stonewalling or opposing otherwise proper discovery requests for the

purpose of frustrating the other party
