– Advertising, websites, directory listings, publications, speaking
engagements, and so on.
– Curriculum vitae (CV) is important for marketing and litigation.
– Remember that anything used in marketing materials or a CV may later
be used to attack the expert’s credibility during cross-examination.
• Liability
– Testifying experts are immune from lawsuits by adverse parties.
– However, experts may be liable to friendly parties for failing to exercise
due professional care or for negligent or intentional spoliation of
evidence.
