States with no income tax

Seven states don’t have an income tax:

1. Alaska,

2. Florida,
3. Nevada,

4. South Dakota,
5. Texas,
6. Washington and

7. Wyoming.
8. Tennessee has a 1% tax on dividends and interest

only.
9. New Hampshire has a 5% tax on dividends and
interest only.

The idea of not having to pay state income taxes

could give you the urge to throw everything in a U-Haul
and head for Dallas, but property taxes, sales taxes or
other taxes and fees might be higher in those states.
