ust like in an enchanted forest, discovering
the showgrounds at MAEPS will leave
Jvisitors mesmerised.
A sense of clarity sets in almost immediately at these
showgrounds as visitors are constantly informed of the various
processes in agriculture production – from the farms to the
dinner table.
There are eight showgrounds at MAEPS – Vegetables, Herbs,
Paddy, Pineapples, Floriculture, Fishery, Livestock and Machinery.
The 13 state-themed pavilions, meanwhile, display the culture,
history, architecture, agricultural and agro-based businesses of
the respective states and their traditions.
Much has been documented about the showgrounds which are
among the main attractions at MAEPS.
MAEPS has evolved into a knowledge-rich destination but it
is the magic of these showgrounds that captures the hearts and
minds of visitors as they leave wanting more.
Kicking off this magical journey is the Vegetables Showground.
Beautifully-decorated walkways covered with vegetables and
fruits hanging from pergolas greet visitors.
There's a greenhouse housing vegetables grown via fertigation
and the hydroponic system. Visitors can experience the growing
process and feel the freshness of the greens.
