                                name it, they’ve got it.
                                  The Fishery Showground at
MAEPS is not just another large aquarium
but sets the tone for the fishing industry in
                      Malaysia.
Children and adults will be captivated by the
graceful moves of the various fish in the tanks.
The venue also hosts a fish market, known
as Aquaculture Market, on the first Saturday of
                      every month.
The site transforms into an education
hub during major events as visitors learn
interesting facts about fish in general.
Exhibitions in the past include House of Tuna
                      and Kingdom of Sharks.
Learn how to fish using a fishing rod, or
                      better still, a net.
If you love fish, then the Fishery Showground
at MAEPS should be on your to-go list.

                               Interesting Fact

In 1975, Malaysia became the first country
in Southeast Asia to implement the artificial
reef development programme. The first site
was in Pulau Telur in Kedah where artificial
reefs were constructed using used tyres.
