To create the beauty look for CHANEL’s Métiers d’art 2020/21 presentation, global creative makeup and colour designer
Lucia Pica injected a modern sensibility into the collection’s Renaissance spirit. She played up an exaggerated eye look in matte black while paring back the makeup on the rest of the face with clear, shiny lips and a soft, blurry complexion.

Butterfly Effect
Mary Katrantzou is the latest fashion designer tapped by the Italian jewellery house Bvlgari to share her interpretation of its iconic Serpenti motif. As part of the “Serpenti Through the Eyes of ” series, the Greek-born, London-based designer connects the snake’s transformative nature with the metamorphosis of butterflies, bringing her joyful, print-loving aesthetic to
two new bag styles and a minaudière, along with a selection of textiles.

Super Sharp
Florentine Kitchen Knives’ contemporary creations can be found in the kitchens of home cooks and Michelin-starred chefs alike. Named after the Florentin quarter of Tel Aviv where the brand was born, it has become known for its signature stacked handles and custom handcrafted designs. Industrial designer turned knifemaker Tomer Botner and his wife and business partner, Noam Blumenthal, draw inspiration from both Israel and Barcelona’s colourful Raval neighbourhood, where their workshop and store space is located.
