Behind the Lens
The annual Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival will focus
its programming on public spaces this year, in accordance with public health guidelines. The festival will also go virtual with live presentations, video screenings, and photo essays. The themes for 2021 are a reflection of our times, exploring topics like the intersectional experiences of queer artists and Indigienous perspectives on land.
Gohar Dashti, Untitled 4, is on view until September 2021. The Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival will be on view through December 31, 2021.
