ABOUT THE WRITER

Arifin, M.Pd.I., M.B.A. is a teacher of Education of Islamic

Religion at SMAN 2 Wonosari Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. He began
his career as a teacher of Education of Islamic Education at SD

Muhammadiyah Sapen Yogyakarta (1997-2005), SD Muhammadiyah

Purwodiningratan Yogyakarta (as a headmaster, 2005-2006), SMAN
1 Rongkop Gunungkidul Yogyakarta (2006-2010), and SMAN 2

Wonosari Gunungkidul (2010-now).
Arifin was born on August 25, 1973 in Jepara, Middle of Java.

In 1997 he graduated from IAIN Sunan Kalijaga majoring in
Education of Islamic Religion. In 2009 he got opportuniy to follow

Teacher Exchange Program at University of Massachussets Amherst

USA for Summer Short Course on Democracy and Tolerance.
In the end of 2012 he obtained a Degree of Master of Islamic

Education majoring on Psychology of Islamic Education at
Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. At the same time he

studied Supervision Management For Education at Master of

Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas
Gadjah Mada Yogyakarta and graduated in 2013.

He has written some books on education. Some of them are
Guru Tanpa Kertas: Keteladanan, Inovasi dan Inspirasi (Cipta Media

Edukasi:2017), Dosa Pedagogis Guru (Penebar Media Pustaka:2018),

Kemiskinan Bukanlah Penghalang Kesuksesan (Penebar Media
Pustaka:2018), and Think Like a Proton : Meraih Kesuksesan dengan

Berpikir Positif (Kun Fayakun: 2018).
