Constrictor knot tied in the bight
Why tie a knot in the bight when you can tie it by
the ends? The answer is that it’s usually quicker to
tie it in the bight. It also looks impressive and will
give you extra knotting kudos – providing you get it
right!
1 Take a bight out of the line and pass it over the object to be seized.
