Double fisherman’s knot

If you’re using the fisherman’s knot, then

you’re probably not worried about bulk, so you may
as well use the more secure, double version. The

same warnings apply about untying the knot. If
you’re joining slippery rope such as paracord, this

could be a godsend.

1 Take two turns with the ends of each line around the standing part of

the other.
