Diamond lanyard knot
Not to be confused with the diamond stopper knot,
the diamond lanyard knot is much used by paracord
enthusiasts for making lanyards and figures (see
opposite). It has at its heart that old sailor’s knot, the
carrick bend.
1 Make a pair of loops – note in each case that the left arm passes under
the right arm of the loop.
