2 Loop the line around the roof rack. At the other end, tie an overhand
loop with a long tail.
3 Pass the tail around the roof rack and back through the loop.
4 Pull the line taut and tie off with a couple of half hitches (here). Be
careful not to apply too much pressure – especially with a fragile paddle
board – as you can easily damage the load.
