 Plum Digital Learning Academy (PDLA)
In addition to in-person class selection, students have the opportunity to take online classes for Plum High School credit through the Plum Digital Learning Academy. These courses are completed online through the Edgenuity Courseware program. PDLA courses are asynchronous, and will require students to complete all of their instruction, practice, learning activities, and assessments online in a virtual setting. Each course is monitored by a Plum Borough School District teacher.
PDLA courses offer the opportunity for students to create a flexible schedule that fits their individual needs. Students taking PDLA courses will be required to complete the coursework for these classes on their own time either during a study hall during the school day or at home. To see what these courses look like for a student, please watch this short video.
Students can utilize these PDLA courses to create a unique schedule of either 100% online courses or a blended schedule of in-person and online courses. Click here to view the course catalog of the PDLA High School offerings. Not all PBSD courses are available through the PDLA program, and students are encouraged to speak with their School Counselor when selecting PDLA courses to ensure they are meeting their graduation requirements.
