               MEETING AND WORKSHOP COMMUNICATION SCHEDULE

Find a mutual benefit to improve communication and build client relationships!
Rule #1 – Mutual respect. Start the art soiree off on the right foot, plan ahead and stay
in contact with your soiree host 1- 2 months before the event. Provide the host with the
lesson plan and discuss the room layout and cost per person.
Rule #2 – Be memorable, even a bit quirky. Brand your art soiree time. Even with
quirky branding, people need reminders and want to know why they should attend.
Rule #3 – Say THANK YOU! Send a timely thank you note to the soiree host showing your
appreciation for taking time to share their home and friends.

Rule #4 – Keep your client base updated. A newsletter or holiday card keeps your
soiree host updated and is part of being memorable. Ask for referrals.

Rule #5 - Relationships are long-term investments that must be maintained and
nurtured. Stay connected. Work your book of business. Your business card and contact
information should be included with your handouts.
