Dear Members,

As we move into what is proving to be an extraordinary year for the World
Association of Detectives, I wanted to take a moment to share the growing
sense of excitement I’m hearing from colleagues around the globe.

With our Mid-Term Meeting just weeks away in Lisbon, and our historic
Centenary Conference set for September in Chicago, the anticipation is now
truly tangible.

In my regular conversations with our President, Wes Bearden, it’s clear that
both events are shaping up to be nothing short of exceptional.

The quality of the itineraries—both professional and social—reflects the
very best of what WAD stands for. These gatherings promise not only
invaluable business insights but also the unique camaraderie that defines
our global community.

2025 marks an unprecedented chapter in WAD’s proud history, and I, for
one, cannot wait to connect with friends old and new as this very special
year unfolds.

So it just remains for me to wish you all safe passage as we convene once
more to maintain and enjoy our unique global friendship.
