Net Knot
A net consists of a fabric of thread, twine, or cord, the
intersections of which are firmly knotted so as to form
meshes, or interspaces of fixed dimensions. The meshes
are usually diamond shaped. It is inferred from carvings in
the Cairo Museum that Egyptians used nets as early
as 3000 BCE.
