Meet Jermaine
TGAS helps to support a malnutrition clinic in Port-au-Prince,
Haiti facilitated by Priceless Grace Ministries. As an organization, we provide $4-6K in baby formula supplies each year. One of our TGAS medical mission teams was just recently in Haiti in February helping to host medical clinics and assist with the malnutrition clinic. Provided below is a story of one of the children impacted through this funded outreach.
Jermaine was admitted into the malnutrition clinic in November of 2019 as he was severely malnourished. His mother passed away unexpectedly, and he does not have a relationship with his father. His grandmother began caring for the child after his mother died. Not knowing how she would be able to feed her grandson, she prayed for direction and a couple of days later heard about the malnutrition clinic.
Since he was admitted into the program, he has gained just over five pounds in less than three months since being on the baby
formula program. When his grandmother was asked what does it mean to you to have this program that provides free healthcare and formula for the
child, she stated:
“I’mveryhappy. Ididn’tknowwhattodowith my grandson. God sent me to the clinic after his mother passed away. I’m blessed by all you all do. My grandson is alive and is doing better because of this program.”
