So at night while the mother slept, He knew that the tree had thawns

the bear repaired his injuries and and a snake,

he slowly crept. but he cared not, for the smallest

                                                                                                                                                           of hugs he would take.

                                                                                                                                                              He climbed through the thawns,

which tore at his fur and moved

                                                                                                                                                              past the sleeping snake, checking

closely that she did not stir.
