Come Let Us Sing for Joy to the Lord
            Psalm 95 and Matthew 11:28-29
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; he is the Rock of our salvation.
Let us give thanks before him now, praise him with music and with song.
For the Lord is a great God, the great God above all Gods.
In his hands are the depths of the earth,
the mountain peaks belong to him.
The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.
Come let us bow down in worship, kneel before our Maker for He is our God,
we the people of his pasture.
Today, if you hear his voice do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah,
where your fathers tested me though they’d seen what I did.
For forty years I was angry with that generation.
     “They’re a people whose heart’s gone astray,
they have not known my ways.”
So I declared in my anger, “They shall never enter my rest.”
“Come to me all you who labour, I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you weary one and learn from me.
For I’m gentle, lowly in heart. There you’ll find rest for your souls.”
