• These plans need to be driven by the question: Where do we want the organization to move
next in its evolution?
3. In-depth education for board and committee members be offered on an ongoing basis
4. Leadership coaching be offered to board and staff to enhance communication, collaboration and
decision-making.
5. On-going communication about progress is important for transition success. This communication
should include both the changes that are being made and the rationale for the changes.
