“The past year and a half has shown the world the impact that science can have on improving the human condition. From understanding how the virus spreads, to testing and vaccine development, to variant detection, we witnessed scientific discovery in action during the pandemic. The research that ARCS Scholars are doing across the UO campus in biology, chemistry, and human physiology will contribute to this kind of scientific discovery for decades into the future. We are grateful to ARCS members and donors who have contributed to building a pipeline of young scientists at the UO. Thank you for your support, and we look forward to your impact being magnified in the years to come by talented ARCS Scholars.”
