Mission
Achievement Rewards for College Scientists (ARCS) Foundation Oregon advances science and technology in the United States by providing financial awards to academically outstanding students who are U.S. citizens studying to complete PhD degrees in science, engineering, math, technology and medical research
at Oregon Health & Science University, Oregon State University, and the University of Oregon.
“ARCS Foundation was launched just after Sputnik in 1958; now, scientists and engineers are making oxygen on Mars with guidance from scientists on Earth. We have experienced the ravages of the COVID-19 virus, with scientists rapidly working to understand the virus and formulate a vaccine; now, there
are multiple vaccines available. ARCS scholars work in these areas and more.
It is abundantly clear that Science is
the Solution, and ARCS members have helped current and future scientists to afford the life of a PhD or MD/PhD scholar. We thank you for supporting the scientists who will make a difference in the future of our planet.”
