Recruitment:
New Member Orientation:
Four new members were added to ARCS Oregon Chapter this past year (Vrushali
Bokil, Lynda Falkenstein, Annie Reeves, and Annie Zeidman-Karpinski). There were five
resignations (4 Active, 1 Associate) and one death. The Associate Member category grew in 2021-
22. Virtual meetings with prospective members, sponsors, our president, VP Member Relations,
and others occurred prior to board presentation for membership.
The second Virtual Welcome Orientation was held via Zoom on
February 16th, 2022. The program was recorded and is available for viewing for new members who
joined after this date. Response to the meeting was strongly positive, and MRC has decided to
recommend that all future Orientations be held virtually to assure the inclusion of our
geographically separated members and to maintain recordings throughout the year.
Annual Meeting: Member Relations assisted in creating our return to an in-person Annual Meeting
and as a hybrid meeting with a virtual option. We achieved a quorum for the meeting of attendees
eligible to vote (Active Members).
Renewals: The campaign to renew membership is planned for 2022. A dedicated group makes
follow-up emails, calls, and letters to ensure that all members get their dues in and plan for the
upcoming year.
