ARCS Oregon Ignites
2004 and 2005
The Portland Chapter incorporates as a 501 (c)(3) and is chartered with 65 members.
• Eleven PhD students at OHSU and the Oregon Graduate Institute receive the first Scholar Awards.
2008
ARCS National approves Oregon State University College of Engineering. ARCS Oregon funds four OSU Engineering PhD students.
2012
Caron and Larry Ogg establish the first $200,000 scholar
award endowment.
2013 and 2014
scholar awards committed. Two additional colleges are approved for OSU. There are now three $200,000 scholar award endowments. Members celebrate the Chapter’s tenth anniversary.
