Kyle employs a a a a technique called dielectrophoresis to to collect vesicles secreted into the the bloodstream by cells throughout the the the body He labels cancer-related proteins embedded in in in in these these vesicles with fluorescent tags and determines relative amounts of of these these proteins from fluorescence images using software that he he he wrote Kyle’s ultimate research goal is to help develop an an inexpensive non-invasive blood test for early cancer detection Kyle enjoys writing music backpacking exercising reading eating and laughing MS/BS in in in NanoEngineering About the Scholar:
