Design Concept

• This design is for a modern &
natural tiny house for Joe and Ami.
• They want a home that can be

transported to any location they

wish. To accomodate this, it has
been designed to be built on a

trailer.
• The color and finish palette used

reflects the calmness of beach
- meeting the aggression of the

ocean water

Inspiration: This design is inspired by

Ami and Joe’s love of the ocean and
their desire to vacation close to the

beach. They are also keen on using
recycled materials. They also look

at the tiny house as an extension to
their home in the city and want similar

luxury and modern technology to be
incorporated.

How: This has been achieved by using a soothing natural palette of color portraying the calmness of the beach with a
stark metallic contrast and pop of colors depicting the aggressive nature of the ocean.

In order to keep the design modern, we will maintain a minimalistic look for the interiors with stainless steel appliances
having the latest technology. In order to also keep the design natural, we will utilize recycled materials.

We will use contemporary metal finished appliances with natural wood furniture to bring nature and modernity together.
