  CORE PROGRAMS

• Children of UPS employees in Florida
Names of potential scholarship recipients have gone to UPS Headquarters and have been submitted for verification of parent employment. There are 28 new scholars this year.
INDIGENOUS PEOPLES PROGRAMS

• Entrepreneurship program schools
Bobby and Rick visited University North Carolina – Pembroke and Robeson Community College. (See reports attached). Notifications have gone out to all 13 schools that the applications are now open in our on-line system and due by June 15th.
• Gonzaga University
Lady and Sharon attended the graduation events for Cohort XIII and Cohort XII. (See report attached.).

• Ryerson University
President Mohamed Lachemi has announced the school’s new name – Toronto Metropolitan University. The attached article explains the name that he told us was coming when we visited there
in March.

• Landmark College
Landmark College presented its 2021 and 2022 LD Luminary Award to NBC television personalities Al Roker and Sheinelle Jones of The TODAY Show. • Operation Jump Start
Bobby, David and Susan visited Operation Jump Start. (See report attached.).
• Perkins School for the Blind
Ali Kane submitted their Year One report that they have successfully implemented Career Launch. (See report attached.)
• Weingarten Children’s Center
Bobby, King, David and Susan had the opportunity to visit Weingarten Children’s Center. (See report attached.)
