Continuing Education will take the form of two round table discussions this summer. These sessions offer attendees an opportunity to discuss frequently raised grant related concepts in depth. The first session is scheduled for Tuesday, July 5 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This session will focus on matching requirements as a component of JSF grants. The second session will be Wednesday, August 10th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and focus on grantee sustainability.
September 2022 meetings
In March 2022 the GPC approved the recommended location of Rohnert Park, CA for our September 2022 meetings. After further consideration of our September plans to make two site visits available to GPC members, Malcolm and Bobby agreed it is apparent that staging these visits is much better from the central location of San Francisco. This location will enable us to stay at one hotel for the duration of our time in California. Consequently, we are currently negotiating with hotels in the San Francisco area for our accommodations in September. Please reach out to Bobby if this location change creates an issue for anyone. The September semi-annual Board meeting, committee meetings and visit to Weingarten Children’s Center will be September 11th through 13th. (See attached draft master schedule.) We have scheduled the optional site visit to Sonoma State University in northern California on September 13th. The attached reservations sheet will give us a better idea of how to plan. Please complete and return this information to Sharon.
Conflict of Interest Statement for 2022
If you have not already sent your completed Conflict of Interest Statement to the office, please do so. We are missing quite a few. We will plan to publish the full listing for your information in the June Monthly Report.
December 2022 meetings
The December meetings will be the second weekend in December. The dinner will be Friday, December 9th. The Grant Program Committee meeting, Compensation Committee meeting, and convening dinner will be Saturday, December 10th. The Disadvantaged Convening will be Sunday, December 11th.
