University of South Florida – They need space! There have been multiple administrative changes in the past year. They have now merged the operation of all three campuses. Deb is part of the new Presidential Committee on Disability. She is hopeful that this top level recognition of the needs of students with disabilities will translate into more programs and better support.
University of West Florida – It has been a tough year at UWF. They went from a 4-person office to just 1 and that 1 recently left. Candice is brand new there. She is working with 2 part time assistants. They are having to make hard choices on what programs they can and cannot conduct.
