CORE PROGRAMS

Lady represented the Foundation at PBA’s annual American Free Enterprise Day event.
INDIGENOUS PEOPLES PROGRAMS
• Distributions as of November 18, 2023 - $1,342,802
• Indigenous Peoples Programs convening and AISES Conference
The convening was another well organized and highly informative event. Sherry’s report will be presented to the Grant Program Committee next month.
Sherry had thoughtfully scheduled the convening to coincide with the AISES Conference there in Spokane. JSF was a sponsor for sessions in the business/entrepreneurship track of this huge conference. (See attached report.)
• Entrepreneurship Scholarship Representatives’ meeting
We had another very productive and enjoyable annual meeting with the representatives from the 10 schools currently awarding scholarships in the program. (See attached report.)
• Gonzaga University meeting report
Malcolm, Bobby, Sherry, Lady and Sharon met with several people from the Gonzaga University leadership team to discuss the MBA-AIE program. (See attached report.)
• Site visits
October was a busy month for site visits in Indian Country. (See attached reports.)
DISCRETIONARY PROGRAMS

• Matching requirements from Grantees
As the Grant Distribution Plan reflects, many reports for securing donations to qualify for JSF matches have been filed in a timely fashion and are already funded.
• Grant Agreements
The agreement with Operation Jump Start has now been finalized. We anticipate funding this year.
