Explain your college aspirations and why college is so important to you:
My parents have gone above and beyond their limits so that I could have the best education possible. They worked extremely hard so that I can have something they never got the chance to. I cannot let their hard work go in vain. Colleges are places where I can improve my knowledge and get degrees that will support me for the rest of my life. Attending college is important to me because it will get me the education that I need, and the experience to push through life.
What's your goal career?
I want to become a postsecondary teacher for mathematics, and help students be confident in the field of math. Before that, I want have a profession of some sort that is not teaching, such an engineering, so that I can have real life experience/application with math. This will also help understand the subject more so that it would be more effective, if I come back for teaching.
Who in your life is encouraging or supporting your efforts to attend college? Please list all people that you believe are on your "team." What role have they played in supporting you? These people may be family members, friends, teachers or other members in your community.
My parents: They have always been my supporting key to attending college. They have invested their life so that I can go to college. There is absolutely no reason for me to let this opportunity go to waste. They have set the example of what a hard working person looks like, and I will always follow in their footsteps. My sister: She is the very first person to attend college from my family. When we arrived to America, she started attending High school as a freshman. However, by the time she got to her senior year, she realized she missed out many
