school in places like Columbia University and University of Chicago, and 48% of them have entered the workforce (most of which are here in Orlando). The remaining 10% did not have the opportunity to complete the survey but remain in contact and are deep in their careers or taking a gap year in preparation for graduate/doctoral programs.
o Goal#5forYear2:Fundthevisionandmanagethebudget:meetannual surplus target. Each year the Board of Directors publishes a budget. This goal references the surplus target or projected surplus created as part of the budget.
• We are on track to close the fiscal year north of 1.4 M in revenue and a surplus. With the addition of a development team (full-time Development Manager and part-time grant writer) we have expanded our capacities to steward ongoing relationships and recruit new donors. Since starting in May of 2022, the team has brough on 2 corporate partnerships, grown the Board of Directors pipeline, and more than doubled the organization’s grant revenue.
