5. LOIs
A list of Letters of Inquiry and responses had been circulated.
Bobby confirmed that all LOIs have received notification within 30 days of submission. There are LOIs in draft status and staff is in the process of determining how long we should allow an LOI to remain in draft status as some are quite old.
Multiple attempts have been made to coordinate scheduling a visit with More Than Bootstraps. Hopefully one can be scheduled in May.
Question was raised regarding the rationale for some of the declines and the language presented to the consultants for reference. Staff and consultants will work to clarify both the language and the parameters for decisions.
6. BudgetItems
a. Honoring grant
Bobby and Malcolm proposed a one-time grant of $25,000 to honor Rick Williams for his years of service. The grant would be made to an organization of Rick’s choice. Current thoughts are that this could be “presented” to Rick in October at the annual meeting in Scottsdale.
The Committee voted unanimously to approve a $25,000 grant in honor of Rick Williams.
