University, and Boys Hope Girls Hope. Plans are underway for a site visit to More Than Bootstraps.
Florida Atlantic University had been invited to submit an application last April but has not done so.
Bobby explained that he did advise of the Foundation’s mission revision to focus on attaining a college
degree. Noting that there is a lot going on at FAU, Bobby said that he intends to wait until the end of
the year before notifying them that the incomplete application has timed out and will consequently be
declined. They are welcome to submit a new LOI.
There was discussion about Foundation for Blind Children, Southern Scholarship Foundation, and Happy
Hands Education Center. The Committee requested staff further review these LOIs.
