SUSF SPRING REPORT (5)
In the spring of 2023, SUS institutions reported that 31% of scholarship recipients have multiple disabilities. Students diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder were the most significant individual disability category represented among scholarship recipients, with 16% reported in this category. Institutions reported 13% of recipients have specific learning disabilities, and 11% have psychological/emotional disabilities. Other categories reported included autism spectrum disorder, orthopedic disabilities, visual impairment/blindness, hearing impairment/deafness, speech/language disorders, and traumatic brain injury.
Graduation Data
State University System institutions reported that 59 Johnson Scholars graduated with baccalaureate degrees in 2022. Recent graduates completed degrees in various disciplines, including accounting, biology, communications, economics, and nursing. Table 3 shows the number of Johnson Scholars who graduated from each SUS institution in 2022.
