All of the Director Discretionary Grants have been funded.
• George Washington University
The 2023 report of their progress is attached.
• Take Stock/Johnson Scholars
Lady and Sharon attended individual graduation celebrations at six of the twelve school clubs. The big graduation on the stage of the South Florida Fairgrounds was held May 15th.
• University of Florida
Bea (and Caleb) represented the Foundation at the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Graduation Reception.
END NOTES
September Board and Committee meetings
These meetings will be held September 10th through 12th in Chicago. We will be staying at the Renaissance Hotel, 1 West Upper Wacker Drive. We are planning to visit Providence St. Mel School on Monday morning.
