UNIVERSITY HEALTH NETWORK
is a research hospital affiliated with the University of Toronto
and a member of the Toronto Academic Health Science Network.
UHN comprises four academic hospitals, an education institute
and seven research institutes. Research is supported in part by the
UHN Foundation and The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
The scope of research and complexity of cases at UHN have made
it a national and international source for discovery, education and
patient care.
We acknowledge that the land on which we work is the traditional
territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit,
the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the
Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations,
Inuit and Métis. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by
Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit. We remember and
honour the legacy of the peoples who have been here before us
and all who work to make the promise and the challenge of Truth
and Reconciliation real. We are grateful to have the opportunity to
live and work on this land.
UHN is committed to championing inclusion, diversity, equality,
equity and accessibility in the learning, work and service
environments. We believe that our differences enrich our ability to
develop creative and innovative approaches to deliver exemplary
patient care, research and education.
