ONE GREAT DAY: BECOMING 7

                    MESSAGE FROM SUPER TUESDAY CO-CHAIRS

Greetings and Welcome to the Atlanta Business League’s (ABL) 35 Annual Super Tuesday
                                                                                               th
Conference. A catalyst for African-American businesses in the Metro Atlanta area, ABL
has the pleasure of providing platforms that connect the small business community
with Fortune 50/100/500 companies. Super Tuesday was created to acknowledge and
empower the women-owned businesses that support the work of ABL. A day that gave
them the tools and resources needed to cultivate not just their revenue, but to help
them leave a legacy. We know that today will help you frame your thoughts about all
                                       that you are Becoming!

Today, African American women are starting businesses faster than any other
demographic in the United States. According to the American Express Report, we
increased 164% from 2007 to 2018 with more than 2.4 million businesses nationwide.
Even with those statistics, women of color received less than 1% of venture capital
compared to their white counterparts. We need platforms like Super Tuesday now more
than ever. The workshops and panels are designed with you and your business in mind.
You’ll learn how to utilize social media and digital platforms effectively, how to engage
strategic partners, the art of relationship building and how to lay the foundations for
a REAL business. We will end the day with an engaging town hall meeting and discuss
                                       Becoming…Stronger Together!

We are building sustainable businesses, employing people in our community and even
becoming mentors to the next generation of entrepreneurs who will raise the bar and
continue the work we are doing here today.

We want to personally thank each person, corporation and committee member
that lent their time, talent and resources in order to make this event a success. Your
continued support of The Atlanta Business League’s Super Tuesday Conference is greatly
                                       appreciated.
