5.10.4.5 Bank and turn rate vs. turn radius
The figure below shows the relationship between the aircraft's bank and the turn
rate and turn radius at a constant speed of 150 Kt.
It can be seen that if you increase the bank from e.g. 15 to 30°, the radius is
halved.
5.10.4.6 Bank and speed vs. risk of stall
The figure below shows examples of turns.
The lower the speed at which you turn and the higher the bank, the greater the
risk of stalling the aircraft in a turn.
