Gov-off
1. Indicates Gov is off, must control RPM manually
Warning lights Clutch Clutch light is on for more than 8 seconds during flight
1. Pull clutch circuit breaker and reduce power immediately
2. Land, be prepared for autorotation
Warning Lights Alt 1. Turn off non-essential electrical equipment
2. Switch Alt off and on, if light remains, land when practical
Warning Lights Oil 1. Check engine tach for power loss
2. Check oil pressure gauge
3. If oil pressure loss is confirmed land immediately
Warning Lights MR Chip/TR Chip/MR Temp
MR Chip TR chip 1. If light is accompanied by indication of failure, land immediately. If no
MR temp Low Fuel indication land when practical
Low Fuel one gallon of usable fuel remains, engine will run for 5
minutes. Land immediately
Governor Failure 1. Grip throttle firmly to override governor
2. Turn off governor
3. Complete flight using manual throttle control
Tachometer Failure Use remaining tach or allow governor to control RPM and land as soon
as practical
Electrical Fire during Flight 1. Master switch off
2. Alt switch off
3. Land immediately
4. extinguish and inspect for damage
Fire in flight 1. Enter autorotation
2. Master switch off
3. Cabin heat off
4. Cabin vent on
5. If engine s running, perform normal landing and immediately shut off
fuel valve
6. If engine stops running, shut off fuel valve and execute autorotation
Engine fire during start on 1. Crank engine to suck flame and excess fuel through carb
ground 2. If engine starts, run at %50 for a short time, inspect for damage
3. If engine fails to start, shut off fuel valve and master switch
4. Extinguish fire with fire extinguisher, wool blanked, dirt etc.
5. Inspect for damage
Loss of TR during hover 1. Indicated by loss of pedal control, and spin to the right
2. Immediately roll throttle into detent and allow aircraft to settle
3. Raise collective just before touchdown
