Cascia Hall Teams PDut Others First
uring their respective seasons, several teams
from Cascia Hall go a step above the competition. Amidst grueling practices and tough preparations, teams take a break to serve their communities in unique ways. Over fall break, the CH Cross Country team gave four hours of their time at the Tulsa Community Food Bank. Athletes sorted onions to help prepare the food for donation. The CH Girls’ Basketball team assisted the John 3:16 Mission with their turkey donations during their break on theWednesday before Thanksgiving. The girls assisted with family registrations and also handed out turkeys. In October, the Academic Bowl Team and Pep Band took part in the CH Key Club’s Trunk or Treat by manning booths and giving out candy. In January, the girls’ and boys’ basketball teams gathered donations for Catholic Charities through their participation in the annual Hoops for Hope tournament co-founded by boys’ Coach Brian Rahilly. Cascia is proud of its student athletes and their spirit of giving!
