Is the direct application of ozone into the blood stream comparable with applying
the same amount of ozone outside of the patient’s body?

Advocates of the DIV argue that no, it’s not comparable. They say that although the
amount of ozone given during a DIV is less and at a lesser concentration than with one

MAH, the effect is more powerful. During a DIV the gas goes directly into the

bloodstream. The ozone/oxygen mix can enfold its actions without delay in the living
person. With MAH, by the time the ozonated blood is re-infused, the ozone has

already reacted with the blood outside of the patient, and the effect is less

pronounced, although a higher amount of gas is used and at a higher concentration.
From personal experience, I tend to agree with this argument.

Keeping that in mind, the above quoted numbers provide a rough comparison (which

might not be fully applicable) to other ozone administrations.
