Hair Restoration
Pure Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy is a revolutionary,
all-natural procedure used to regenerate hair
growth. The growth factors in the Pure PRP
concentrate stimulate new blood vessels to grow
for the hair follicles, which promotes the production
of hair follicles and even thickens the hair shafts.
New research is showing that introducing the
concentration of growth factors and white blood cells actually stimulates the
growth of hair follicles. This reverses hair miniaturization, which is commonly seen
in androgenetic alopecia.
After the assessment of hair thinning and hair analysis, the injection sites on the
scalp is recommended. A small amount of blood is taken from the patient to produce
the Pure PRP concentration, then the scalp is cleaned and numbed with a local
anesthetic. Calcium-activated Pure PRP is injected via syringe and applied topically
with a derma-roller. The derma-roller creates microscopic channels that allow the
PRP to penetrate deep into the skin on the scalp where it stimulates the growth of
hair follicles and creates new blood vessels.
There is not any downtime after this procedure. Aesthetically there may be some
redness of the treated areas of the scalp and minor bruising for a few days after
the procedure.
The office visit usually takes between 90-120 minutes but the procedure takes
only about 30 minutes to complete. Initially, 3 to 6 treatments 4-6 weeks apart are
recommended for optimal results. Maintenance treatments are recommended every
one to two years depending on hair type.
Vaginal Rejuvenation
While research shows that 25% to 45% of women
in North America suffer from some form of a sexual
disorder, these common problems are seldom
addressed or treated. Vaginal Rejuvenation is a
cosmetic procedure for the vagina that utilizes
growth factors available in PRP (platelet rich plasma).
The treatment goals are to amplify and rejuvenate
the orgasm-producing vaginal tissue. This procedure creates a more youthful
appearance while improving sexual function and desire for the patient. It can also
temporarily enhance and rejuvenate the Grafenburg spot (G-Spot), clitoris and labia.
The treatment involves an FDA-approved method of isolating PRP and then injecting
the PRP into the patient’s tissue. Unlike collagen injections into the vagina, the PRP
treatment has no side effects.
Although the individual experiences vary, the usual results of the treatment include
a tighter vaginal opening, younger, tighter skin of the vulva (lips of the vagina),
increased natural lubrication, increased sexual desire, greater arousal, stronger and
more frequent orgasms, increased ability to have a vaginal orgasm, and decreased
pain in case of dyspareunia (painful intercourse).
