One can treat volunteering differently, but it is by all means
a responsible step which everyone is making on one’s own. Vol-
unteering is an important part of my life. For me, it is an opportu-
nity to aid and share my experience and sometimes just to listen
and give an advice. I often participate myself and always support
the initiatives of our team. I can say unequivocally that the com-
pany volunteering brings only benefits: the employees have an
opportunity to follow not only the interests of their home and
job, but they also learn to give their care and sympathy to those
who need help. Doing something good they start feeling unit-
ed, which lets them achieve the targets with greater quality and
speed, both in their professional performance and life.
I have participated in many projects, one that I remember
very well was an intellectual interactive quest “Skills of the 21st
Century”, which we were delivering for orphans in 2018. The kids
who came to us have obtained quite a lot from this event and will
be able to use the information that we have shared with them for
building their future. This was also beneficial for the volunteers’
team: we saw each other from a new perspective – not as peers
only, but as volunteers.
I would like to recommend everyone to take part in volunteer
projects, but to stay reasonable and consistent and not to aban-
don what has been planned.
